Soundtrack for a hot heaux summer
Summer is coming to a close, in manners both official and unofficial.
And for the first time in a long time, I had a summer worth writing about. A summer worth living. It was quite the rollercoaster, exciting and thrilling and scary, lots of ups and downs, often made me throw up.
I made a Spotify playlist for my hot heaux summer, to help me remember this time and give it sone emotional resonance.
the songs here represent the many emotions and states of mind I experienced: the happy, the sexy, the fun, the sad, the intense. Each song meant something to me in some way.
I used to be careful about the construction of my mixed tape/CD, order mattered. And I would write a note about why I included it. But in these digital days, when I can put loads of songs in one playlist, order no longer plays a role. Shuffle ’em baby! Old songs mixed with new songs, different genres, different beats. It all works. I keep adding songs as summer wears on, when I hear something new that is vital for my hot heaux summer.

It’s a really good playlist. Like, really good. My favorite songs on there right now are kids by sleigh bells and maybe baggage by bishop Briggs. That sleigh bells song is just so amazing. it’s not feasible to write a note on why I picked each selection. That info will just have to live in my head.
I’m going to sleep now but may you enjoy my hot heaux summer as much as I did.
