lousy bunch of weather makers

It’s barely 54 degrees (F) right now in Boston. What a load of garbage. Technically, it’s still summer; someone just forget to tell mother nature that, I guess. But I am cold and the idea of having to turn on the heat in SEPTEMBER makes me want to stab numerous folks in numerous eyes.

Come on weather! stop being such a selfish bastard.

and it makes me laugh that there is a tropical storm named Gordon. It really isn’t that funny and I have no jokes, but it still makes me laugh.

new kid in town

So I finally joined flickr, but really I don’t know why. It’s not like I have a lot of pictures that are interesting to anyone but me, because almost every single one of them is of Ryland. And I really hate being such a johnny come lately, but I figured I might as well sign up for it and be part of the in-crowd, welcome or not.

in other more pressing news, directv is finally here hooking up my tivo service and let me tell you, just in time. I had to suffer through prison break last week via an antenna. That’s right, an antenna! It was all fuzzy and grainy and practically unwatchable. Just how is a girl supposed to get her weekly hot guys on the lam fix through rabbit ears, huh? HUH? Anyway, some guy is outside right this second, weaving around with a very unwieldy ladder, so unless something goes horribly awry, I should be good to go for tonight’s ep.

and can I just say how annoying it is that my computer, which isn’t even a year and a half old, is considered outdated and old? ridiculous. really.

baby o’ mine

I have a few pics of Ry to show off. You can find these same pictures, plus a few more, here. Enjoy!

He’s not a ham at all, no sir.
tada!

His first trip to the beach, back in July. He loved it.

I love this picture, it has a very cape cod, new england feel to it, like he could be out on a sailboat somewhere and not just on the back porch of his grandmother’s house.

Here he is looking very cool and hip.

And one minute later….not so much.

Picking out a good goalie stick for his dad to use.

Kids know when they’re being very cute, don’t they?
