filthy puerto ricans
so yesterday was the closing and the move-in, but it will be another two weeks or so before we get to actually MOVE in, due to the disgusting state the house/apartment was left in. I don’t think these people ever once vacuumed or dusted or wiped down the walls or cleaned the bathroom or even used utensils. How people live in such filth is beyond me.
I almost had a stroke yesterday when RG actually picked something off the floor and put it in his mouth. I poured a few cups of bleach down his throat and gave him a decontamination bath after we left the place, so I think we’re okay. I’m watching him closely for signs he’s becoming a filthy puerto rican though, I’ll keep you updated.
- plaster this.
- the world loves to torment me
I had an awesome moment earlier today when I looked over @ Emerson in her exersaucer & she was feeding her bink to my pug, Oscar. It was excellent, she held it by the handle and offered the correct end to him, and he walked up and took it in his mouth and ran off, just a perfectly executed pacified handoff.
You should call a maid service and have them hose the place down with magic nastiness-removal spray. When we moved into our first house there was gross shit everywhere and we called a maid service and the place was sparkly clean in an hour. I think it cost $150 but it was worth every penny. This brigade of women came through and disinfected and scrubbed the crap outta the place. You should try it.
oh, and congrats on the new digs.
