it’s only tv.
or so I tell myself.
I like the Sopranos. I think it’s a good show. But it’s hard for me to watch. because of the violence. I sit there the whole hour, my entire body tense and rigid, waiting for it. sometimes it comes, sometimes it doesn’t, but either way, I stress over it.
This anxiety is keeping me from enjoying the show, how can you relax when you’re stomach is in knots, waiting for the next violent act?
thank god that vito character was finally killed, watching it every week was torture, knowing he was going to get caught and suffer mightily. But still, I should maybe stop watching the show. It can’t be good for my constitution.
I’m not kidding, it seriously causes me physical discomfort. I don’t know why I do it. stupid TV.
I haven’t been watching this season, but I kind of know what you mean. I’ve watched other characters on that show and been very nervous about what I knew was coming to them. Along the same lines, in a much LAMER way, disaster movies are like that too. I’m embarassed to say I went and saw Poseidon. I know, I know. Anyway, it was stupid, and I knew how it would end, and it just stressed me out for two hours. It was like one big anxiety attack – and I didn’t even care about those stupid characters! I feel your pain.
That is the “fun” of these shows, playing with your adrenaline.
If it wasnt there you wouldnt watch it!!!

Christa took her cool designs over to the NEW site, and the rest of you are stuck here like redheaded stepchildren, with lame templates & a harsh & uncaring absentee landlord. I wish I could show you guys what it’s like on the new site, but she made me make two promises: first, I had to promise not to tell anyone the url, and second, I had to promise not to tell anyone about our violent lovemaking sessions that border on fetish porn for the sheer volumes of fluid secretions involved. I’m pretty good about keeping secrets.
Christa is indeed fortunate to have such a good friend/lover.
