October 5th, hockey is back. I don’t know entirely how I feel about the new CBA and the rule changes, but I am beyond thrilled to have things resolved. And the new season starts VERY VERY SOON. It gives me a butterfly tickle in my tummy when I think about it and my eyes water and I get tense and I want to scream. I suppose I shouldn’t be so excited about a stupid sport, but I can’t help it. finally, hockey again.

I am nervous about the Bruins, they really fucked around with their roster. But I suppose you can’t make the team any worse now can you.

hockey in 70 days. My son will be one, we’ll be back in Boston and all will be right with the world.

    Professional hockey was gone. I didn’t miss it. I likely won’t watch it ever again. College hockey is the only hockey worth watching imho.

    I don’t care much for College Hockey or NHL.. I’ve really been enjoying the EHL lately. The Elderly Hockey League has far more action than regular hockey. They use 2 or 3 pucks on the ice at once, and they get to take ‘breathers’ if they need a rest or to pop some meds. Of course some of the players need to use ‘ice walkers’. They’re a lot like regular walkers, but they have skis on the bottom instead of wheels… duh! Genius!

    I saw a long lost Cousin this weekend.. I hadnt seen her for 25 years. She is a graphics freelancer living in Colorado. (arent they all these days.) She went to China and got a China baby girl.
    from Jai Xiao near Vietnam. Boy is she cute!! I want one!!! Seriously!!!
