V-Day

Well, it&#146s finally here. Election day. I can&#146t believe it. What with the baby and the Red Sox and the NHL lockout, November 2nd just sort of sprang up on me.

I know a ton of people who voted early and I had intentions to also vote early, but I ran out of time and it&#146s just as well. Voting on anything but November 2nd doesn&#146t feel right. My family mailed in their ballots, which I suppose is convenient, but I personally LOVE going to vote, getting into those sexy little booths and making my choices. It feels so good, so American, so empowering. I remember the first time I voted and how truly free I felt. I made my little voice heard, at least in that booth.

I know every single loafe reader will be voting, as least those who can. Those of you who are able to vote and do not, I hate you and I don&#146t respect you and you should be ashamed (especially if you are young and/or female). The notion of &#147my vote won&#146t matter&#148 is a slippery slope and we must tread carefully. Bad governments rely on people to stay at home and not vote, so don&#146t let that happen!

The moment of reckoning has arrived. In the words of a great man, it&#146s going to be a glorious day. I feel our luck could change.

I have high hopes. If the Red Sox can win, so can my man Kerry.

Also, it may be true that I&#146m in love with Jude Law. We covet what we see, right? And he&#146s everywhere these days. Which is fine by me, because that man is muy caliente.

Not to mention that he was a great robot in AI!
Just got done voting 45 minutes ago. A mixed ticket, mostly Democrats, and against most incumbents. Kerry, Obama to name a few. God Bless America.
Ryland is truly precious as a pea pod…Where do you get those ideas?

I’m voting for both candidates. It looks like it’s going to be a tie, anyway. I really like Kerry’s ‘fresh start for America’ ideas, but then on the other had if we lose Bush then we’ll lose a great source for punchlines. I just think America could benifit from the strong leadership of Kerry and the ‘fun factor’ that we’ll get from Bush. I’m voting Bush/Kerry in 2004!

Paris Hilton would say that Ryland is hot in his costume.

Yay! I voted. I sure hope it goes my way. OMG, I LOVE Jude Law. I have loved him since I saw him in Wilde. I might even go see Alfie, a type of movie that really isn’t my bag. He inspired my idea for a girl baby name, Sadie. I think he has/had the lyrics to the Beatle’s Sexy Sadie tatooed on him somewhere.
