There are loads of reasons but the biggest one right now is that I just visited twitter for five lousy enraging minutes and discovered that there exists a stage production of the ocean at the end of the lane, in London, and I will never ever get to see it.
This news adds yet another layer of crap to my rapidly expanding crap sandwich of 2020. And It’s only the third! What the heck.

Alright. Alright. Let’s just calm down everyone. Hopefully we will all be dead soon. But in the meantime, I think the universe is testing my resolve. The path is difficult because if it was easy I’d already be there.

My country and my humanity as a woman are being sold piece by piece at fire sale prices, and I feel totally helpless to stop it. Things went from bad to worse to unimaginable.
I have zero faith in any man, Democratic or otherwise, to stand and be true, to fight for women, for people, for this country, for decency and truth. The white men Democratic candidates? Barf. You are all part of the problem. And the white woman? Well, Elizabeth Warren is easily the most principled and qualified person running. but she won’t win the nomination much less the election. Because this world hates women more than anything else. For crissakes, even women have been conditioned to hate other women, to hate ourselves.
The only thing more brilliant than the way Republicans have seized control of my country is the way men have ruled all of eternity and convinced the universe that being female is not a valid existence.
I’ve never had much love for the Republican Party but they have become movie version villains. Fucking cowards. Turning themselves inside out and for what?
My grief is bottomless. Just let us all burn.
Another sleepless night. Another headache. Rage and grief and dark dark thoughts. Tired of men. so tired. hungry men, devouring us, chewing up the world, never full.
