300 playoffs
so the NHL is using scenes and dialogue from that movie 300 that I’m currently obsessed with to promote the upcoming playoff season, and I gotta say…it’s got me revved super high. Pure genius, pairing that movie with hockey playoffs. I LOVE IT SO MUCH.

Okay, no I didn’t. Not yet anyway.
But, the interview went well and I think I have a good chance. I could be dead wrong and she could have hated me, who knows? I’m in the midst of a nasty cold and my foggy head could be playing tricks on me, so we’ll see what happens.
One of the perks of the job is a free sailboat, which would be totally sweet.
p.s. Being sick sucks. Being a sick mom sucks. Being a sick mom with a very sick toddler is beyond your understanding of pain and misery.

Okay, I need everyone thinking their most positive, happiest, good luck thoughts ever on Wednesday morning, as I go to an interview for a position at a magazine. A real actual magazine. MY DREAM. Well, my dream isn’t to work at a sailing magazine per se, but you gotta start somewhere, right? I’ll start there, gain experience and contacts, make new friends, finally get the ball rolling my little “career” here.
I will die if I don’t get this job. I’m going to tell her as much at the interview. The blood will be on your hands, Ms. Interviewer, so choose wisely.
