I am a little worried about itunes

the US version anyway.

I saw this today:
“For a limited time, get critically acclaimed albums at a greatly reduced price. This week, we’re offering Escape, the 1981 rock album from Journey, for under $5. With ‘Don’t Stop Believin’,’ ‘Who’s Crying Now,’ and ‘Open Arms,’ the album is a classic of arena rock from the days when people held up lighters, not cell phones.”

The other albums available for $4.99:
Modern Day Drifter, by Dierks Bentley (umm, who?)
Dangerous Man, by Trace Adkins (umm, who 2?)
Dirt, by Alice in Chains
Ok Go, by Ok Go
CrazySexyCool, by TLC
The Best of Vanilla Ice, by Vanilla Ice
Brown Sugar, by D’Angelo
Blind Melon, by Blind Melon
Blue Train (remastered), by John Coltrane
Poison’d!, by Poison
Marcy Playground, by Marcy Playground
American Pie, by Don McLean

All of these, critically acclaimed, classic albums, yes?

okay, so I bought Journey, Poison and Ok Go. And just so you know, haters like marianne, I did not buy Coltrane, which would have been the cool, elitist, music snob thing to do.

Okay, I’m lying, I totally bought Coltrane, too, and I will never listen to it. Except for maybe someday when I invite that mysterious, sexy “do they swing?” couple over, and Blue Train will be playing softly in the background (of course this will be after my dear sweet m-i-l has kicked the bucket, as I am surely stuck in this hell for all of ever, as god’s punishment for my sinning ways and filthy vagina) and my coltrane playing will tell them how cool I am, so they’ll seduce me into their world of dark underground secrets and naughty excursions that take us deep into the forests of the white mountains, where we will dance in the moonbeams, ride the night wind, make love to the darkness and laugh at man’s sins.

Thanks itunes.
