the reason I haven’t posted much lately is because my email/phone posting function is broken, I think because of the last upgrade, and I’ve had zero time to deal with it. I am hardly ever in a place to post a normal entry anymore.
Also: I love my Mac, but the over-the-top fan noise is about to turn me into a raving lunatic.
A G5? Power it down, and unplug it for about 20 seconds. That usually does the trick on the G5 towers – so it might be the same on your G5 iMac.
Smack it! that is always what I do with my computer here at work. It seems to help.
