I tivo’d Jay Leno the other night because Sarah Silverman was on, and she makes me laugh. Also on the show that night was Justin Timberlake, who also makes me laugh, although not quite in the same way.<\/p>\n

I fast-forwarded through most of the show, because Leno sucks. But after watching Sarah Silverman, I decided to watch JT perform his song “sexy back”, or whatever it’s called. I’ve heard all about<\/b> the song, but not the actual song itself and I’m a curious sort of cat.<\/p>\n

And I liked it! I know, I know. But it’s true. I genuinely enjoyed it, and I even enjoyed watching him sing it. It’s a good song, well-written, funky and sexy and fun. what’s not to like? Except for the fact that it’s Justin Timberlake. He’s a schmuck but I’ve liked worse songs in my musical lifetime. I think I’ll be okay.<\/p>\n

I gotta know something though. What is it with celebrities these days? They’re trying so hard to come off as down-to-earth, simple, “real” people, totally unaffected by their fame and fortune. Do they think they’re fooling us? Admittedly, the American public can be woefully stupid, but we know that money changes things. We get it. So don’t worry, Zach Braff. It’s okay that you’ve become a hollywood asshole. We understand. You don’t have to pretend that you’re a cool, regular dude. You’re not a cool, regular dude anymore, you’re famous and We Get It. Playing like you’re not part of the celebrity culture makes you look ridiculous. So stop it, please.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
