I saw this movie last weekend and then went and saw it again today. Cause I am obsessed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is one of the best movies I’ve seen in years. I am in absolute awe of it. It looked good from the previews and I expected to like it (vampires? Michael b Jordan? Duh) but I did not expect it to be this good and for me to love it this much. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It was even better the second time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
There is one scene in the movie that was so beautiful, so transcendent. It gave me chills and made me feel dizzy and I was breathing hard. It was pure magic. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It was the acting, it was the story, it was the dialogue, it was the cinematography, it was the music, it was the meaning, the feeling, the everything. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ok and I have to admit to something very dumb. It was a good 30-40 mins into the movie before I realized that the two main characters, twin brothers, were both Michael b Jordan. I said to my movie companion, “wow they did an amazing job finding an actor who looks almost exactly like Michael b Jordan!” And my movie companion looked at me and said “That is Michael b Jordan. He’s playing both roles. You stupid cow.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n
